Is it Important to Keep my Pool Chemically Balanced? Keeping the water in your pool at a perfect chemical balance is essential if you want to have clean and clear water. Unbalanced water can become cloudy, damage your filter, wrinkle liners and a variety of other problems. Water with low pH levels can be corrosive and cause skin and eye irritation. High pH levels can clog your filters and stain the pool. High and low alkalinity can also cause a variety of problems in the pool. Our team is available to test your water and help you maintain a perfect chemical balance in your pool. How do I Shock my Pool? Shock is a common term you hear a lot of pool owners use. Shock is used as a sanitizer and will oxidize bather waste and kill off any bacteria growing in your pool. Shock is usually sold as a small package of calcium hypochlorite or another chemical. You should take proper safety precautions when using shock and wear gloves, goggles, and chemical masks. Our team can handle shocking your pool as part of a weekly pool maintenance service. Feel free to email or call our customer service team today if you need your pool shocked. What Causes Algae in my Pool? Algae can grow in pools that are not properly maintained. If you don’t sanitize your pool, you are risking an algae outbreak. Algae also needs a place to grow. If you clean your pool weekly, the algae will have no place to cling and grow. Algae can also grow if you have poor filtration in your pool. Our team can make sure algae doesn’t have a chance to grow in your pool. We offer weekly cleaning and pool maintenance services that will eliminate the risk of algae in your pool. How do I know if I have a Leak? Your pool will naturally lose water to evaporation. You could easily lose ½” of water every day. If you have a leak, you will lose considerably more water every day. If you have multiple water stain level lings on your liner, you might have a leak. Do you have overgrown patches of grass near the pool? This could indicate an underground plumbing leak. Our team is available to inspect your pool and filter system. We will diagnose the problem and provide a fast and affordable repair for your leak. |
